TxtSays 이용약관

1. 서비스 / Service

TxtSays는 사용자가 선택한 PDF, TXT 또는 MD를 브라우저에서 읽어 텍스트로 표시하고, 로컬 음성 모델 또는 사용자의 브라우저·기기에서 제공되는 Google·Microsoft 음성을 사용자가 선택해 재생하며, 선택한 한·영 단어의 뜻을 찾도록 돕는 무료 웹 도구입니다. 로그인 없이도 이용할 수 있으며, 선택적으로 Google 로그인하면 화면 테마·언어와 읽기 위치를 기기 간 동기화할 수 있습니다. TxtSays는 문서 파일, 추출 텍스트 또는 합성 음성을 계정에 저장하는 클라우드 문서 보관함을 제공하지 않습니다.

TxtSays is a free web tool that extracts text from a user-selected PDF, TXT, or MD file in the browser, plays it through a local speech model or a Google or Microsoft voice available in the user's environment and selected by the user, and helps look up selected Korean or English words. TxtSays can be used without signing in. Optional Google sign-in synchronizes only the display theme, interface language, and reading position across devices. TxtSays does not provide cloud storage for document files, extracted text, or generated audio.

2. 문서에 대한 권리와 책임 / Rights and responsibility

사용자는 자신이 열고 복사하고 내려받고 재생하는 문서를 이용할 적법한 권한이 있어야 합니다. 타인의 저작권, 개인정보, 영업비밀 또는 기타 권리를 침해하는 방식으로 서비스를 사용해서는 안 됩니다. TxtSays가 파일을 서버에 보관하지 않더라도 사용자의 문서 이용 책임이 없어지는 것은 아닙니다.

You must have lawful authority to open, copy, download, and play the document you select. Do not use the service to infringe copyright, privacy, trade secrets, or other rights. Local browser processing does not remove your responsibility for lawful document use.

3. 금지되는 이용 / Prohibited use

• 불법 행위 또는 타인의 권리 침해를 위한 이용
• 서비스, 호스팅 인프라 또는 다른 이용자의 이용을 방해하는 자동화 요청과 공격
• 보안 기능을 우회하거나 악성 코드·유해 파일을 배포하려는 시도
• TxtSays 또는 제3자와의 제휴·보증 관계를 허위로 표시하는 행위

You may not use TxtSays for unlawful activity, infringement, abusive automation, attacks, security bypass, malware distribution, or false claims of affiliation or endorsement.

4. 정확성과 이용 가능성 / Accuracy and availability

PDF 텍스트 순서, 문장 분할, 언어 감지, 음성 발음, 사전 뜻과 기기 번역은 원문 형식과 브라우저 환경에 따라 부정확하거나 제공되지 않을 수 있습니다. TxtSays는 의료·법률·재무 등 전문 판단을 대신하지 않으며, 중요한 내용은 원문과 공신력 있는 자료로 다시 확인해야 합니다. 서비스는 점검, 장애, 브라우저 변경 또는 외부 제공자 정책에 따라 예고 없이 일부 제한될 수 있습니다.

PDF reading order, sentence splitting, language detection, speech pronunciation, dictionary meanings, and on-device translation may be inaccurate or unavailable. TxtSays does not replace medical, legal, financial, or other professional judgment. Verify important information against the source document and authoritative references. Availability can change due to maintenance, failures, browser changes, or provider policies.

5. 외부 기능과 광고 / Third-party features and advertising

음성 합성, 기기 번역, Google 로그인, Firebase 인증·동기화 저장, 호스팅, CDN, 사전 원자료 및 광고는 각 제공자의 기술과 약관에 영향을 받을 수 있습니다. TxtSays는 Google AdSense를 통해 광고를 표시할 수 있으며, 광고주가 제공하는 외부 사이트나 상품을 보증하지 않습니다. 개인정보 처리 방식은 개인정보처리방침을 확인하세요.

Speech synthesis, on-device translation, Google sign-in, Firebase authentication and synchronization, hosting, CDN services, source dictionaries, and advertising can be governed by their respective providers. TxtSays may display Google AdSense ads but does not endorse external sites or products advertised through them. See the Privacy Policy for data-use details.

6. 로컬 음성 모델 / Local speech models

Supertonic 3는 Supertone Inc.의 AI 음성 합성 모델이며, 이 기능으로 재생되는 음성은 AI가 생성한 합성 음성입니다. TxtSays는 고정된 FP16 파생 패키지를 브라우저 호환을 위해 ONNX 노드 순서만 변경하여 재배포합니다. 모델은 BigScience Open RAIL-M에 따라 제공됩니다. 사용자는 이 라이선스 제5항과 Attachment A의 이용 제한을 준수해야 하며, 해당 제한은 이 약관의 집행 가능한 조건으로 포함됩니다. 상세 출처와 변경 사항은 모델 고지에서 확인할 수 있습니다.

Supertonic 3 is an AI speech-synthesis model by Supertone Inc. Audio played through this option is AI-generated synthetic speech. TxtSays redistributes the pinned FP16 derivative package, changing only ONNX node order for browser-runtime compatibility. The model is provided under the BigScience Open RAIL-M License. You must comply with paragraph 5 and the use restrictions in Attachment A, which are incorporated into these terms as enforceable conditions. 7. 변경 및 문의 / Changes and contact
